Here are some photos from our honeymoon. We went to Tanzania the Sunday after our wedding for two weeks and it was a truly incredible experience.

Awkwardly, Chantal insisted upon watching
each sunrise like this on our trip.

We really ended up with elephants as our
favorite animals. Lots of personality and often with babies.

Baboons were a fairly common site.

We got a kick out of the Impalas. One male
would try his best to herd 20-30 females
with 10-15 other males lurking nearby.

This was our hut at the Serena Serengeti
Lodge, one of like eight different
places we stayed.

Ostriches just seems out of place, no
matter where you see them.

In the Ngorongoto Crater, we got very close
to these two young male lions.

Very close! They eventually took a nap in the
shade created by our truck.

Zebras love to do this head crossing position.

He is our safari driver, Japhet. The poor guy
was with only us for 8 days!

Chantal was freaked out by the hyraxes.
Curt thought they were cuddily.

Warthogs are funny, ugly little creatures,
though ugly in a cute way.
